General Description

Model SD Sprinklers are to be installed in the upright vertical position with the flow direction arrow on the deflector pointing down the slope. Their spray pattern is long and narrow. It only discharges in one direction.

SD (Single Directional) Sprinklers are primarily used where shear walls or draft curtains have been installed within an attic space. They are also used when the framing direction is parallel with the outside wall in the hip area. The SD sprinkler style is available in three different models for different roof slopes. Please refer to the technical data page when choosing the correct model for specific application.

IMPORTANT Always refer to Technical Data Sheet TFP700 for the INSTALLER WARNING that provides cautions with respect to handling and installation of sprinkler systems and components.
